How to Pronounce Final [ang] —
A Nasal Sound-followed Vowel?

The Final [ang] is one of the nasal sound-followed Finals.
How to pronounce it correctly?
- First, lower the rear portion of your tongue to initiate the leading [a-] sound. Open your mouth as big as producing the English [a] sound.
- Then raise the rear portion of your tongue, allow it to touch the soft palate to block the airflow.
- Once the airflow is blocked, the airflow reroutes through the nasal cavity and resonates, and then you can produce the trailing [-ŋ] sound.
