The Printable Tracing Worksheets:
How Free Downloads Are Used?
Accompanying the publication of each lesson at the Day2Day Chinese channel on Youtube, I have also published a number of Chinese Calligraphy Worksheets for my students to practice their handwriting.
These worksheets are in a printable PDF format. They can be download for personal use for as many copies as you need for practices toward perfection.
However, there is no commercial use of them unless authorized by me in advance.
Now, a few words on how to use these worksheets.
These worksheets are similar to the alphabet copybook in your first-grade school year.
They are designed for tracing with a modern-day hard-point pen, not the traditional soft brush pen.
A thin-stroked computer font was chosen for it is not only beautiful but also suitable for a hard-point pen to trace.

They are meant to guide you to write the character accurately through tracing the dimmed characters on the grids.
At the top of the page, there is all the necessary information on how to write the character correctly.
To the left, a Stroke Direction Guide with RED arrows shows you the start and end of each stroke.
To its right, a Stroke Order Table shows you the sequential order of strokes. The strokes are numbered. BLACK strokes are strokes that had been written, the RED stroke is THIS stroke, and GREY strokes are strokes that are yet to be written.
At the top-right, there is a QR Code block that links you to the corresponding slide for the character on this worksheet in my video presentation. There is a one-slide stroke animation plus associating information for each character.
When you download and print the worksheet and ready for practice, you can use your smartphone to scan the QR code to link online video instructions on this character.
Or you can use your iPad and Apple Pencil to tracing the characters on the screen. If instructions were needed, touch the QR code with your pencil or finger to activate the link.
If you have not done that, you can download my Chinese Calligraphy Worksheet on this webpage.
